Ztyle Live Music Club presenterar The Gunners Dream! A Tribute to Pink Floyd! Detta Göteborgs baserade band kommer att framföra Pink Floyds musik denna kväll, en tribut till ett av dom största banden någonsin! Få band har lämnat så många spår och påverkat så många som just Pink Floyd. Bara en sån sak att deras album Dark Side Of The Moon som släpptes 1973
Albumet tillhör bandets mest kända och uppskattade verk och är ett av de mest kända inom genren progressiv rock. Det har sålts i 45 miljoner exemplar, vilket gör det till världens tredje mest sålda musikalbum. Det är det album som har legat längst på topplistan Billboard 200: totalt 758 veckor (drygt 14 ½ år) mellan 1973 och 1988.!!!
Under denna kväll kommer det dessutom att spelas musik från DJ båset som anknyter till Pink Floyd, dvs allt från Syd Barret till Roger Waters & Gilmour solo :)

The Gunner’s Dream?
We were a bunch of musicians who’d played different kinds of music together in various constellations and we’d all one time or another expressed a crazy idea: “Hey! How about starting a Pink Floyd cover band?”
Then, finally, around Christmas, 2000, we sat down and analysed the songs and then we looked at each other and said: “OK, it’s a challenge, but you know what, we can do this!”
So, in January 2001, we shook hands on it and formed The Gunner’s Dream.
Our ambition?
To be Pink Floyd? – No!
To try and recreate that magic sound and mystique?
– Oh, yes!
Since then we’ve set aside time from our jobs and other music commitments to meet regulary on a weekly basis. The first period was naturally spent almost exclusively in the rehearsal room, learning and practising the songs, but as time went by we began to come out and play at venues. These gigs have become successively larger.
Last year, for example we played to a big outdoor crowd at the Gothenburg City Festival and recently we played a major gig at Gothenburg’s ‘Music House’.
